The Pueblo Peppers are proud to announce that 2008-born defenseman Lucas Dahlstrom has been called up to the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL!
Dahlstrom joined the Peppers via trade this summer and wasted no time making an impact. In two games at the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, Lucas recorded an assist and impressed with his ability to make plays at both ends of the ice.
“Lucas was a great addition for our team this summer and had a great showcase for us,” said Head Coach Chris Wilhite. “This is what our organization prides itself on—moving players on to the highest level they can play. We appreciate Lucas’ hard work and commitment every day here in Pueblo and can’t wait to see what’s next for him!”
Dahlstrom now makes the jump to a Des Moines organization with a long history of developing NHL Draft picks and NCAA Division I players.
Congratulations and good luck in Des Moines, Lucas! 🌶️🔥🤙🏼
